Uncut Stones

"If ever (and rarely) a band is found that can be so concise, clear, poetic, and potent that the spirit itself is moved; attention need be demanded. Uncut Stones display a musical maturity, respect, talent level, and professionalism that is rarely found and every available room needs to be made aware." - Joe Benedict, Gorilla Music Production/Management

About The Duo:

Buffalo’s Christian Rock Duo

Uncut Stones is a husband and wife team that brings Christian Rock music back onto the stage. Their sound is similar to that of Lincoln Brewster and Gungor. And just like the Gungor band, they are a husband and wife team that bring in musicians depending on the needs of the event and style of music they are playing at the event.

Currently Dan is the worship director at CenterPointe Community Church in Depew. Together with his wife Melanie they have used their band as an outreach in the local music scene. Uncut Stones has been spreading the gospel at places like the Tralf Music Hall, the Hard Rock Café, and other non Christian related clubs throughout Western N.Y.

A few notable things would be that Dan co wrote a song with Debbie Miller for the movie about Debbie Miller’s life call “I Gave Birth To An Angel”. Uncut Stones has played multiple times on TCT Television station and has been featured on the Ask The Pastor TV show as guest musicians. They have performed at Kingdom Bound at Darien Lake and have performed on the U.S.S.S. Little Rock.

Dan has played on multiple albums locally including with Nathan Salter, Christian Rainville, and countless guest appearances on other artists albums.

Their CD ‘We Will Rise Up’ featured Will McFarlane on guitar for the song Lay My Burden Down. Will McFarlane is known for being the rhythm guitarist for Bonnie Raitt for many years. In addition to Will McFarlane you can also hear other artists such as Aimee Reid-Sych and Nathan Salter on their album.

Outside of Uncut Stones, Dan and Melanie enjoy leading worship all around Western N.Y. sharing their music and talents with other churches. They are always willing to help and serve the local churches by contributing to music events as guest musicians, or event helping worship teams by doing worship and songwriting workshops. Their goal is to serve the body of Christ and spread the gospel.

You can check out their original music right now from their current Album - ‘We Will Rise Up’ available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, or wherever you get your digital music.

What people are saying about them:

"It is awesome when you find Christian musicians who are able to captivate both Christian and non-Christian audiences when they play. Uncut Stones is one of those bands! WNYB had a recording session with Uncut Stones and they were very professional and easy to work with. They are as humble and professional as they come on and off the stage."-Sean Brennan, Manager of TCT Network

"Uncut Stones is an incredible group of talented, passionate, worshipers leading others into the presence of God. Uncut Stones has been a faithful member and partner in the prayer Collectives work of organizing prayer around WNY" - Kyle Patterson, Director of Development at Buffalo City Mission and CEO & Founder at THRiVE! Media Group

"Uncut Stones are much more than a group of outstanding musicians, offstage they prove they are real Christians by showing Love, kindness and they inspire everyone they meet. Great to see people practice what they preach."  - Richie Derwald, Producer at Viva Niagara Productions
